Je weet dat in de straat een oudere vrouw alleen woont, je groet haar altijd vriendelijk, maar weet je eigenlijk wel of ze zelfstandig in staat is om boodschappen te doen? En die overbuurman die vorige week een nieuwe kast bij IKEA heeft gekocht, maar door twee linker handen wel wat hulp kan gebruiken bij het in elkaar zetten daarvan? Het zijn alledaagse en voor iedereen herkenbare situaties. Met het nieuwe initiatief SallandDoet worden hulpvragers en hulpaanbieders bij elkaar gebracht.
SallandDoet is voortgekomen uit het maatschappelijk bestemmingsplan van SallandWonen. Met een aantal strategische partners uit het bedrijfsleven en het maatschappelijk middenveld is al een aantal jaren gewerkt aan een model voor modern noaberschap. Klaar staan voor elkaar, maar vooral ook weten dat er in je eigen leefomgeving een hulpvraag is. Tenslotte zijn we in de huidige maatschappij steeds meer op elkaar aangewezen.
Als eerste communicatiemiddel is nu een website gelanceerd. Via www.sallandoet.nl kunnen allerlei matches in het werkgebied (gemeenten Olst-Wijhe en Raalte) tot stand komen. “Het is een online tool waar Salland trots op kan zijn”, benadrukt burgemeester Martijn Dadema van de gemeente Raalte die net als collega Ton Strien van Olst-Wijhe medewerking heeft verleend aan een inspirerend filmpje.
De website is informatief, laagdrempelig en vooral gebruiksvriendelijk. Je kunt eenvoudig een hulpvraag uitzetten en als aanbieder zie je in één oogopslag of er iemand is waarvoor je iets kunt betekenen. De kracht van SallandDoet is dat het een regionaal initiatief is met duidelijk lokale wortels. De hulpvragen worden namelijk zoveel mogelijk op straat- of wijkniveau uitgevoerd. “Door de online tool word je op de hoogte gehouden van nieuwe hulpvragen, zodat je automatisch weet of iets voor de buurman kunt betekenen”, valt te lezen op de website.
