De politie heeft dinsdagmorgen 6 januari een 37-jarige Deventenaar aangehouden voor de straatroof die plaatsvond op dinsdag 30 december 2014. Op de Papenstraat is een 71-jarige vrouw uit Deventer met geweld van geld beroofd. De vrouw is vermoedelijk gevolgd nadat zij bij een bank geld had gepind en werd op de Papenstraat van haar fiets geduwd en van haar portemonnee beroofd. Op grond van onderzoek en getuigenverklaringen kon de verdachte worden aangehouden.
